Clean and Green: Just a dream

Have we ever dreamed to see our Mumbai actually clean and green?
We always say, it is our Motherland, "amchi Mumbai".
We are so proud to be 'Mumbaikar'.
But how many Mumbaikars really get hurt when someone spits anywhere and tries some creativity to make your mother the way it is.
Yesterday I observed bit conscienciously and surprisingly I found many so called educated and sophisticated couple teaching how to not to care and throw chocolate or chips rapers in the garden lawn and not to touch it again once thrown.
No scool in the world can teach these simple things. But I think we all need to go to KG again to learn basics of 'interdependence' in the world. Why dont we understand that whatever dirt we will do in our world it will only come back to us in one or the other way.
We all are very much fond of freedom. And we will advocate our independence whenever we get opportunity. But we carefully forget that we are bound to follow nature's rules.
I tried slapping guys for spitting in Trains and on roads. It worked...
I tried picking up that chocolate rapers yesterday. And 'Gandhigiri' also worked...
What I actually mean is, Do something against it, It will work.
Everybody knows that they are doing wrong thing. Still they dont care because none of us do. When they realise that somebody is watching them doing this cheap act they feel ashamed and correct it rather than start fighting.
Please start saying NO to this...
